The Mall in London with the decorative arches still in place shortly after the Coronation of Elizabeth II on 2 June 1953. There were plans to incorporate the arches in the new Palm House at the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew but this did not happen - a vintage nineteen fifties photograph.
