An Indian gold inlaid tulwar, 2nd half of the 17th century Sturdy single-edged blade (wootz Damascus?), double-edged at the tip. Ornamentally and florally gold inlaid iron grip with, at the end a spatulate cross-guard. Gold-inlaid eyelet on the pommel. The gold inlay on the grip and flat edge minimally faded.
