Sydney, Australia, 09 Sept 2022: Following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II overnight, today’s planned march through the city of their namesake by the crew of HMAS Parramatta was halted at short notice by the Navy. This gave the ship’s Chaplin, Nigel Porter (far left) and Welfare Rep, Chris Wainwright (far right) time to meet with two local ex-servicemen, Cecil Young (L) and Tom Wade who had come to see the parade.
