KRUGER NATIONAL PARK, SOUTH AFRICA: THE MOMENT a tiny cub decided he was ‘lion king’ and ready to lead the pride including his own mum has been captured. The intrepid would-be leader of the pack can be seen in these cute pictures striking out ahead of his siblings while his mother follows from a distance keeping a watchful eye on the baby adventurer. Other pictures show the whole family gathered under the safe reach of the lioness. Photographer and wildlife enthusiast Hendri Venter was lucky enough to be able to snap this series of pictures at Kruger National Park.
