Sandbanks, Poole, Dorset UK. 14th July 2020. Evening Hill in Sandbanks is a popular spot for people to stop, admire and photograph the spectacular views and sunsets overlooking Poole Harbour. It is the main route to/from Sandbanks which gets congested in busy times. 43 on street parking spaces are being removed and replaced with a trial cycle lane with 240 metres of flexible bollards to encourage people to cycle in support of the Council’s climate and ecological ambitions and as part of measures for Dept of Transport Emergency Active Travel Fund Scheme.
