Jade mythical animal, Yuan or early Ming dynasty, 14th-15th century. A pale celadon jade one-horned mythical animal, its head turned back and touching its knobbly back. Its hocks have C-scrolls and flaming excrescences. Its eyelashes are pronounced with curled-up ends, there is also a turned-up nose and tail.
