One of the largest of melons, and a fine shipper, carry- ing well for long distances. It is long in shape, with skin of mottled gray color, and bright crimson flesh. Of a dark bluish green color, very uniform in size and shape, crimson flesh, equal to any as a shipper, and shows up well in bulk.
