Jar with Four Lugs, 500s-600s. This storage jar comes from the Paekche kilns, located west of the Kaya kilns that also produced early stonewares. The body is relatively thick and less paddled than Kaya pieces of the same period. The mat gray surface of ash deposits on the upper body provides an appealing decoration.
