In the Odyssey, Telamachus knelt where the water broke on land and asked the gods for help finding his father, Odysseus.


According to Greek mythology and legend, Telemachus was the son of Penelope and Odysseus, a Trojan War hero whose return trip home took 10 years. In the epic, Odyssey, by the Greek poet Homer, Telamachus knelt where the water broke on land (pictured here), and asked the gods to him find his father. And, he does go in search of Odysseus but does not find him.
