An old sketch of the Three tuns Inn, Thirsk, Yorkshire during the coaching era. Mrs. Alice Cass kept the Three Tuns for a number of years, at a time when it enjoyed the advantage of being the only coaching house in Thirsk, and when not only the London, Edinburgh, and Newcastle coaches were horsed there, but the Leeds, Darlington, and other coaches departed from this inn.
