A varied tit in seasonal berries SUFFOLK, ENGLAND AUTUMNAL IMAGES of British birds gleefully snacking on what looks like a forest of berries were captured on Sunday 17th August 2023. Beautiful images show blue tits, great tits, goldfinches and even a kingfisher making their way to the beautiful berry landscape for the perfect autumn snack. These images were captured by British photographer Phil Orris (35) in private land in Suffolk, England using a Nikon D500 with Nikon 200-500mm. Phil captured the birds from just five feet away at times, an incredible feat given how fast and skittish the small birds can be. ?This time of year we are treated to some beautiful colours and scenes in nature. Blackberries really give a feeling of this time of year, and how the days will soon be shortening as the cold weather takes hold,? said Phil. ?In contrast it was a beautifully sunny day, and I wanted to create some images of birds amongst this beautiful backdrop. ?There was a variety of birds coming in, including blue and great tits, goldfinch, greenfinch and chaffinch. ?There is something very peaceful about just watching the worlds of these little creatures go by. ?I think my favourite would be this one below of a young blue tit, I really like the framing of the image sloping from right to left, I really wanted this shot so I was very pleased when it came off. ?Taking a moment to sit back and enjoy the peacefulness of nature can really help get away from the stresses and strains of everyday life. ?Personally, taking time out to enjoy and photograph wildlife enables me to escape from the daily grind and ENDS
