GULFPORT, Miss. (Jun. 7, 2022) Equipment Operator 3rd Class Blake Heaton from Lufkin, Texas and Utilitiesman 3rd Class Leonardo Gandica from Lake Worth, Fla., assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1, operate and direct a Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement during Command Post Exercise phase two aboard Port of Gulfport pier. NMCB 1 is conducting an intense homeport training plan to expand their ability to execute construction, humanitarian assistance, and theater operations.
