A restored V-1 flying bomb on display at the Kansas Cosmosphere in Hutchinson, Kansas, one of America's leading space and rocket museums. This WWII German 'vengeance weapon' was an early form of cruise missile powered by a pulse-jet engine (visible on top of the fuselage). Given the nicknames 'buzz bomb' and 'doodlebug', it was used against southern England and Belgium.
