Autumn reflections in Western Road, Hove

Brighton and Hove were unified in 1997 and granted city status by the queen as part of the millennium celebrations in 2000. However there is an alley, called Boundary passage with a stone embedded in the pavement, which marks the old divide between Western Road , Brighton and Western Road, Hove. These building's facade are almost the same , as they were a century ago. Their uses at street level have undergone a lot of differences. There is a plethora of exclusive shops , including clothes, home design and florists , that line this part of Western Road. There was even a cinema , called Tivoli Cinema. In 1948, it became the Embassy Cinema, until it's closure in 1981.
