OKINAWA, Japan (Nov. 3, 2016) A CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter, assigned to 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, takes off from the flight deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) during Blue Chromite 2017. Blue Chromite is a exercise, which strengthens the Navy-Marine Corps expeditionary, amphibious rapid-response capabilities based in Okinawa, Japan and the greater Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
