Jenkins had the best ar- rangement of chrysanthemums, showing how they could be utilized in the home. S. J. Qoddard had some fine vases of Bichmond and Charles Eager. Mr. Gk>d- dard showed a handsome vase of Carna- tion Laddie, which received first for pink. C. S. Strout showed Maine Sun- shine in grand condition and received a silver medal. There was a wonderful display of win- ter-flowering begonias of the English type and they surpassed chrysanthe- mums in popular favor. A magnificent display covering several hundred square feet of spac€ came from James Marl- borough, superintendent for Thomas E. Proctor. Over forty varieties were shown and many of these were speci- mens three to four feet across. The fol- lowing were especially fine: Fascina- tion, Sunrise, Altrineham Pink, Em- press, Splendor, Ideala, Optima, Eclipse, Vulcan, Eose Queen, Dazzler, Emily Clibran, one of the best; Rosalind, Pink Perfection, Apricot, Mrs. Heal and Flambeau. This group was charmingly arranged and well merited the gold medal awarded. For
