As a menstruum use alcoholand water mixed in the propor-tion of two hundred grams(about 8J fluidounces) alcoholto every one hundred grams(about 3^ fluidounces) of the drug with onehundred and seventy-five grams(about 7§ fluidounces) of themenstruum. Pack it moderately in a coni-Saturate withforty-eight hours. Then percolate. Reserve four hundred cubic centimeters(13-J fluidounces) of the first percolate. Continue the percolation untilthe drug is exhausted. Evaporate the second percolate to the consistence of honey and thendissolve it in the first percolate. Add e
