Ashford, Kent, UK. 23rd Jan, 2015. Phase 2 of Operation Stack continues today owing to delays in the Channel Tunnel. The Operation involves freight vehicles being stacked on the coastbound M20 motorway between Junctions 8 and 9 pending police permission to proceed. Other traffic travelling towards the coast is routed via the A20 whilst the London bound carriageway is currently unaffected.
