VIETNAM - The horticultural village of Sa Dec. Located in southern Vietnam in the Mekong Delta region, Sa Dec is known as the birthplace of writer Marguerite Duras. There is her autobiographical novel The Lover, award Goncourt 1984, in which she delivers the story of her first love in the heart of French Indochina.
