Jersey Tiger, Euplagia quadripunctaria


This black moth with white stripes is now common in UK southern counties, but is slowing working its way north, like all migrants crossing the English Channel from Europe This specimen was spotted resting on the bottom of a spade in Buckinghamshire, to the west of London.
