Capt. Aaron T. Nelson begins the preflight check of his aircraft July 16 at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma. Nelson, an Arlington, Texas, native, was part of an air training exercise flying the CH-53 Super Stallion. Nelson is the officer in charge of the detachment flight line with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361, Marine Aircraft Group 16, currently attached to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 Reinforced, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit.
