The following lessons should be devoted to learn-ing how to start, stop and turn. Several weeks dailypractice will be required to do this properly. Theteacher must, under no circumstances, allow the pupilto attempt more until he can perform these elementarymovements mechanically, instantaneously and accur-ately. It is well enough to begin to practice with anold team which has learned to obey the least indicationfrom the driver, thereby doing his hardest work
