Detroit, Michigan - Newly-installed flags fly in front of the Packard plant. Opened in 1903, the million square foot plant employed 40,000 workers before closing in 1958. Spanish investor Fernando Palazuelo has bought the plant and hopes to redevelop it through his company, Arte Express.
