Unique painting of Catalan modernism depicting Ramon Casas and Pere Romeu himself, owner of the famous brewery "Els Quatre Gats", driving a car, a vehicle of the twentieth century, which decorated the main wall of the famous brewery. In 1901, this fabric replaced another in which the same characters pedaled in tandem, with the silhouette of Barcelona in the background. Both works have become one of the most emblematic of Catalan modernism. The decorative purpose of the two paintings, their humorous tone and style, brings them closer to the technique of the poster, a genre in which Ramon Casas had acquired great prestige, approaching the aesthetics of art nouveau. and the art of the great French poster artist Toulouse-Lautrec - Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya.
