Posušje, Bosnia and Herzegowina – August 2023: Medieval Stećak tombstone/s in the Lapidarium next to the church Blažene Djevice Marije. There are more than 70,000 of these Stećak tombstones in Bosnia and in the neighbouring regions of Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia. Thousands are monumental in size and decorated with patterns and figurative depictions, around 400 bear inscriptions.
