= Wooden Transfiguration Church Framed by Trees and Corner of Another Church in Winter = View from a corner of Resurrection Church on the elegant old Church of the Transfiguration topped with onion domes and Orthodox crosses on the grounds of the Suzdal’s Museum of Wooden Architecture and Peasants Life in a winter season. The three-level wooden church was built in the village of Kozlyatyevo in the Kolchugino District of Vladimir Region (Before revolution Gubernia) in 1756. It was moved to the museum in Suzdal in 1967-1968. On July 21, 2011, the top of the wooden church dating back to the 18th century caught fire after being struck by lightning. Restoration works of the church were held almost half a year by 36 craftsmen from Vladimir and it was finished in February 2012. The restoration cost quite a big sum to the city of about 6 million rubles ($).
