Meatballs made with Mealworms / Tenebrio molitor. Insects are eaten as food in many parts of the world, and don't have to be scary. See Notes

RAW, uncooked, edible insects. These are made with crushed dried mealworms mixed with soy protein - about 5 parts soy, 4 parts insects, and 1 part minced pork to help bind together. Rather to delicate to be deep fried, these can be baked or braised with a minimum of liquid used. Burnt bugs taste absolutely awful so they need to be cooked gently.
