rare old photograph of Talbot Hotel Yard, Whitby , North Yorkshire, UK, looking towards Flowergate. It was accessed via a set of steps (left of photo) through a short tunnel under the hotel . Mrs F E 'Cissie' Waters seen here with Holly her dog was the cottage's (Talbot Cottage) last resident. The substantial hotel was later developed into retail premises and Talbot Yard and its only cottage were dismantled.
