160306-N-AH771-017 NORTH SEA (March 6, 2016) Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Johnathan Rivera, a Sailor aboard the Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43), connects straps attached to a rigid-hull inflatable boat (RHIB) to the ship's crane during small boat operations. Fort McHenry is currently participating in Exercise Cold Response 2016, which is a biennial Norwegian invitational that tests militaries’ ability to operate in extreme cold weather conditions.
