Indian Market, 2021 - Nitanis, Manaya, and Violet Duncan, Indian Dancers
The Indian Market is held each year at the Pueblo Grande Museum and Archaeological Park in Phoenix. I have submitted photos from previous years. Due to COVID, it has been canceled for the last two years but reopened for 2021. I was asked to photograph the event again this year with an emphasis on crafts and entertainment. Here we see the rest of the Duncan family — from left to right, Nitanis (eldest daughter), Manaya (middle daughter), and Violet (wife and mom). By the way, note the bells on the skirts worn by Manaya and Violet — they provide a wonderful jingle-jangle to the dance.
