A pair of silver-mounted flintlock pistols, C. Bauduin, France, circa 1730/40. Round, smooth bore barrels in calibre with cut rocaille and flower decoration on top of the breeches. Lockplates have engraved signatures, waterproof pans, and cocks with sliding safeties. Blackened walnut full stocks richly inlaid with silver engraved with decorative scrolls and vines.
