There are about 50 caves and they have no official record. In the Kark?n Village of Afyonkarahisar, with a population of 339, stockbreeders raise mainly sheep, goats, and cows in the caves right next to the village. Villagers who make a living from animal husbandry say that about 50 caves have been used for the same purpose for 100 years.
