The adult specimen (female) is bigger than specimens from El Roble, but we consider it as the same species. In 1962 Cassagnau & Rapoport described Arlesia globulosa as found in Patagonia in Argentina, which is now placed in the same genus Delamarellina Rapoport & Rubio, 1963. D. guilleni differs from D. globulosa (Cassagnau & Rapoport, 1962) particularly by the shape of maxillary head, absence of muero and tenaculum with only 2 + 2 teeth (3 + 3 in D. globulosa)..
