The Green Street Green village sign was designed by S. W. Mortimer and erected to commemorate the Queen's Golden Jubilee in 2002. It shows the Horse and Red Shield which form the centre-piece of the Kent coat of arms together with a fox, an oak tree and a brewery commemorating John Fox who established the Oak Brewery in the village.
