In fact so many of our menwear toe plates as to cause some of our curious opponents to ask if our team are not allpitchers. Captain Stickell is pitching the greatest ball of his career. White, with arecord of eighteen strickouts at this early stage of the season, shows great promiseand no one can predict what greater things he will do when he gets into mid seasonform. Then young Gus Zeigler won the only game he was called upon to do boxservice. And finally Schwartz, at Rock Hill College, showed his metal by strikingout 12 batsmen and allowing but two hits.
