This inscription,which can be dated c. 100 , tells how one Timotheos, anxious to erect atemple of Aphrodite, was bidden by an oracle to do so in the precinct of ApollonAsgeldtas : the building-operations necessitated the temporary removal of analtar of Ktesios and an adjacent statuette.
