Various Notes. E. 6. Gillett's wirework department has been exceptionally busy during the last several weeks. C. E. Critchell has been getting in some excellent sweet peas that have been finding a ready sale. Among recent visitors were Philip L. McKee, president of the American Greenhouse Manufacturing Co., Chi- cago; Eobert Rahaley, Detroit, Mich.; S. J. Hider, Hillsboro, 0.; John Scott, Huntsville, Ala., and Joseph Hill, Rich- mond, Ind. Clarence Conger, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Conger, who was waylaid and shot a week ago at Wichita, Kan., died March 1 from his wounds. His parents and family have the sympathy of their friends in their bereavement. Mrs. Theresa Buschle, wife of E. Buschle, passed away at her home last week. She was a victim of influenza.
