The western entrance embraces two large spaces, which are occu-pied by unique exhibits. The Carman Projector & Specialty Com-pany will show stereopticons, lanterns, projectors and automaticelectric curtain hoists in operation. Opposite is the electroplatingexhibit of the Hall Gold & Silver Plating Works. The differentprocesses of plating and finishing of plated wares are to be shown in. Under the travelingcrane the Northern Electrical Manufacturing Company will have themost complete demonstration of the adaptation of electric motorsto every form of tool. In this the manufacturing of motorsis to be carried out in a way to show the convenience and increasedefficiency of motor-driven tools. All of Block 17 under the crane-way is taken by the Western Electric Company. Near the center isa large loo-kw motor-generator set which, with a compensator, fur-nishes no and 220-volt direct current throughout the exhibit. NextAisle B is a small machine shop in operation, showing the directapplication of motors to tools. There are to be several direct-con-nected marine sets, transformers and regulating apparatus. On theopposite side is to be a series alternating arc light equipment withornamental lamps an
