Coin of the Emperor Claudius


Billon Tetradrachm coin of the Emperor Claudius struck at Alexandria, Egypt. Year 4 (43/44 AD). Coin depicts Messalina wife of Claudius holding two figures these apparently represent Britannicus and Octavia, the two children she bor to Claudius. This is the reverse of Alamy PPJF7T. The coin is from my own collection.
