It was also suggested to me that at no distant daythe manufacture of white lead, red lead and litharge would bestarted. Thus is assurance given, in the growing diversificationof her pursuits, that Pueblo is destined to be not only a centre. The day is not far distantwhen you should establish COTTON AND WOOLEN MILLS. Widowhood, orphanage and unmarried women are found inevery country, and for these gentle and profitable employmentshould be provided. While you hardy men are engaged in thesteel works, the smelter and other departments of muscularlabor, the cotton and woolen mill furnish fitting feminine em-ployment.
