Col. Joseph E. Escandon, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) commander, presents Helen Ayer Patton, granddaughter of the famed Gen. George S. Patton, Jr. who commanded the Third Army in France and Germany following the Allied invasion of Normandy, with a framed photo commemorating her visit to Fort Campbell, Feb. 25. During her visit, Patton met with the division’s senior leadership and toured the division headquarters, the Don F. Pratt Memorial Museum, several memorials and The Sabalauski Air Assault School.
