Portsmouth, Hampshire, UK. 7th October, 2015. THERE were long tailbacks along Portsmouth's Eastern Road after a crash between a motorbike and a car. The crash happened in the southbound carriageway, near to the Good Companion pub, at about 6pm. There was a collision between a green Ford Fiesta and a red Yahama bike. THERE were long tailbacks along Portsmouth’s Eastern Road after a crash between a motorbike and a car. The crash happened in the southbound carriageway, near to the Good Companion pub, at about 6pm. There was a collision between a green Ford Fiesta and a red Yahama bike. Emergency services were at the scene within minutes. Some of the road had to be closed off as the highway was strewn with debris. A police spokeswoman said: ‘There was a road traffic collision between a green Ford Fiesta and a red Yahama motorbike. ‘There was a slight injury.’ Queues stretched back to the A27 as emergency services dealt with the incident.
