This avalanche detonator is located near the top of the Steinmahder ski lift above the ski resort of Lech in Austria. It is there to protect the skiers passing below the Zuger Hochlicht (2377m) peak. Means for triggering an avalanche or the like. Using an explosive charge, which is introduced into an avalanche slope and accommodated in this detonator.
