It will be noticed that Prince Ed-dies brig is a sailer; but it was thought well toaccustom the child to every phase of seamanship;and after a year or two this trim little craft,which cost the British nation nearly $8,000, wasto be passed on to Prince Albert, his brother;while he himself would either be given a minia-ture steam war-ship, or else be drafted to somesmall real gunboat, and so learn all about thenavy which some day he may command.
