Head crimson ; 3rd joint of palpi and antennas black-brown ;. thorax and abdomen black-brown tinged with metallic blue; fore coxse white in front. Fore wing black-brown, with oblique waved postmedial narrow crimson band from below costa to just above tornus. Hind wing shot with brilliant blue; a terminal crimson band with dentate inner edge. Hind wing with the basal half suffused with brilliant blue : an orange terminal band not quite reaching apex or tornus and expanding into a patch between veins 2 and 3. Hah.
