Rivastigmine tartrate. Molecular model of the drug rivastigmine tartrate ( ) This is a parasympathomimetic or cholinergic agent, sold under the brand name Exelon. It is used for the treatment of mild to moderate dementia of the Alzheimer's type and dementia due to Parkinson's disease.
