ALL B&B MAGNOLIAS ARE OFFERED WITH DORMANT BLOOM BUDS Highly ornamental and popular deciduous shrubs, with large leaves, and flowers in a variety of colors. They are among the most showy and striking of the early blooming shrubs. To preserve their bloom buds from freezing, we use our mod- ern high humidity cold storage rooms. We get these plants dug and into storage usually by mid January, and keep them just above freezing, thereby holding their bloom buds dor- mant. We can make delivery as late in the Spring as you desire, and each plant will have dormant bloom buds. In bloom at your nursery, their sale becomes automatic. FOLLOWING IS TYPICAL CUSTOMER COMMENT OHIO, October 18, 1957: "Incidentally, what kind of a price could you give us on Magnolia Soulangeana 3-4' and 4-5' for Spring '59 delivery, about 350 in each grade. Don't quote us unless they are grown from layers and grown at your own nursery. We want plants with a decent root system and would prefer bare root shipment and we would peat ball them our- selves.
