The GQM-163 Coyote pictured above is part of one of several successful events that took place during the At Sea Demonstration/Formidable Shield 2021SD/FS21) exercise. The target is a supersonic sea-skimming vehicle used by the Navy with the ability to reach speeds of Mach 2 or higher and altitudes as high as 52,000 feet. The Coyote provides support in defense research and fleet training exercises.
