A con- siderable number of rambler roses are now available. Other favorites are Rhododendron Pink Pearl, lilacs, bulb- ous stock in pans, deciduous flowering shrubs and camellias. Various Notes. H. J. Borowski & Sons, of Boslindale, had ten splendid specimen cyclamens at the last meeting of the Gardeners' and Florists' Club, which secured a cultural report of merit. A group will be shown at the spring exhibition in Boston. No finer cyclamens are produced in New England than at this establishment. They are so good that buyers in plenty come for all that are ready. Easter plants here are coming along finely. The principal varieties are rambler roses, azaleas, bougainvilleas, lilies and hydrangeas. Paine Bros., of Randolph, report a successful season so far with bulbous flowers. They now have fine Murillo and Flamingo tulips, while in narcissi Mrs. "Walter T. Ware and Victoria are good. Old-fashioned bouquets have had a g^eat run. For table decora- tions bulbous flowers mixed in low dishes have had a great sale. Hya- cinths, tulips, narcissi, crocus and scil- las are chiefly used and make a stun- ning effect, especially when planted in masses a yard across. I noted the first Spanish iris of the season here.
