Mr. Hoffman has had the satisfactionof seeing his bondsadopted by the Mil-waukee Companyand of having nu-merous inquiriesfrom other compa-nies. He is nowready to sell theright of manufact-uring these devicesto companies wish-ing to use can be madewith the ordinaryfacilities at hand inany street railwaytown. The patents coverthe use of a fish plate covering the bond wire. The newform of angle bar recommended for this purpose (FiguresI and 2) is as strong as the ordinary form and costs onlyfive cents more. It can be made adaptable to any kind of rail. Its use is not restricted to Mr. Hoffmans bonds, asrights to use it withany bond will be grant-ed.
